Laal Singh Chaddkha is the main character with small IQ, is in a trip and in a random way shares the history to the fellow traveler with a mention of the taking place events in India, becoming interested in it, other fellow travelers who are nearby also get into an argument. Singh was born in the Indo-Pakistani war where his grandfather was as the martyr. For this reason the hero is nicknamed the person with low IQ. After at the girl mother died, she goes to the grandmother who works as the maid for Laal. Rupp and Laal spend all the time together and at once marry. Several years later Laal and Rupp become fellow students, and Laal also loves her. But the girl has a dream to move to Mumbai to get a job of the actress and to receive a lot of money. There are all dreams whereas Laal joins service. 

In the course of service Laall met the girl by the name of Balu that leads to excellent communication and future vital plans, such as opening of own business. But events are developed not absolutely and Bala perishes during service. After army the guy decides to grant by all means desire of the girlfriend and begins to do business which they planned. In business there is an assistant Padzhi Mohammad who in last years was a terrorist, but Laal saves it from death in the war. Work and life of the guy proceed perfectly, but he still had place for love of the life which he did not see already long ago, and waits so far it will return again.
