In 2009, American geologist Adrian Helmsley comes to India to visit his best friend, astrophysicist Satnam Tsurutani, who is conducting research in a copper mine 3.5 km deep and discovers that the neutrino flux caused by an unprecedented solar flare heats up the Earth's core, and the temperature is rising very quickly. Although Adrian notes that this is impossible, since neutrinos do not interact with the matter of the Earth, Satnam suggests that neutrinos in a flash are transformed into a new kind of particles, which affects the core of the Earth, warming it up.
