An unremarkable guy named Will Stronghold is enjoying a wonderful period of life. The teenager attends school, communicates with friends and tries not to stand out from the crowd. The schoolboy's family members, at first glance, are average Americans. Parents sell real estate, earning enough money for a normal existence.

No one around them even realizes that the Stronghold family are real superheroes, protecting the peace of fellow citizens from numerous external threats, of which there are plenty. The young man's dad has superpowers, and his mom can fly. Adults want their son to become a worthy successor of the tradition, since the inhabitants of the globe need constant supervision. The problem is that the main character has not yet discovered any superhuman abilities. One day, Will goes to college, where future defenders of the Earth are trained.
