Robin Longstride serves as an archer in the royal army. After the ruler Richard died heroically on the territory of France, the main character, along with his army comrades, return to their homeland. Passing through the forest, they found a dying knight named Robert Loxley, who was ambushed with his squad. A man on his deathbed asked Robin to deliver the sword to his father in Nottingham.
Handing the crown to the new monarch, Longstride sets out to fulfill the last will of Robert, whose parent asks a brave stranger to impersonate his dead son in order to prevent the alienation of family lands to the state. Meanwhile, the insidious and wayward Sir Godfrey enters into a secret treaty with the French king, thereby trying to shake the position of the newly made English ruler John. The villains begin to ravage the north of the power. Wanting to protect his fellow citizens from an unenviable fate, the false Locksley challenges powerful enemies.
