Joe Braven has a wife, Stephanie, and a daughter, Charlotte. Joe works as the head of a team that is engaged in harvesting wood. The family lives peacefully, enjoying the surrounding nature. Joe has a father named Linden, who sometimes forgets some facts from life. One evening Joe's father accidentally gets into a fight in a local bar. Linden mistook some woman for his deceased wife. As a result of the fight, Joe takes his father to the hospital with a head injury.

 

Weston is a crew member who helps Hallett in transporting drugs. Hallett asks Weston to find other drivers for the job. But Weston refuses. Due to inattention, they get into an accident and all the cargo falls out of the car. Weston and Hallett decide to hide the goods until the police arrive at Joe's cabin, which was located nearby. Hallett, in turn, informs the boss about the location of the goods. Meanwhile, Joe and Linden go to their mountain hut. Charlotte, wanting to go with them, hides in the back of the car. Upon arrival, Linden and Joe find bags of cocaine in the barn. Joe hides Charlotte in the pantry. And the hut is surrounded by hired killers of a drug dealer.
