Another attack is taking place in Metropolis. A dangerous syndicate takes possession of the entire power plant. Superman finds himself on the scene, and finally gets on the trail of the head of the syndicate, whom he neutralizes. Further on, a new Zubek attack takes place in the expanses of the metropolis. Superman gets into a fight with the villain, and then chases him around the city. However, in their last fight, the hero and the villain die. The whole city remembers Superman and thinks who will protect them. However, some are of the opinion that the hero simply staged his death or even resurrected. Cyborg goes to the laboratory in order to pick up the body of the meter-long villain Zubek, but on the first attempt he fails because of the guards. After taking the body, the Cyborg sends his body into outer space. The Destroyer goes to Metropolis to find traces of recent events. This leads him to disadvantaged areas, where he encounters Steel.
