The film begins with American football star Joe Kingman. The football field, the last seconds of the match and Joe makes a touchdown. Joe Kingman is an avid bachelor who lives in a chic modernized apartment. He has a cool car and the only thing his head is full of is his career in sports. Joe, like any celebrity, has his own agent- Stella Peck. Stella handles all business matters while Joe is having fun.

The next day after a successful game, Joe's doorbell rings. He opens the door and wags a little girl who claims that he is her father. Joe doesn't believe the girl and slams the door in her face. However, the girl Peyton is not going to back down. Peyton is trying to prove to Joe that she really is his daughter. Then Stella appears, who is surprised by the child who has appeared. But she decides that it can serve as a good marketing move. The image of a young dad can make Joe a favorite of the public.
